This is an in person class held at Baaad Rabbits in New West.
You need to be confident in knitting & purling.
In this workshop you will learn the fun Intarsia technique, perfect for picture knitting. Rebecca will share the 'pull from the tangle' method, and also talk about bobbins, how to cross your yarns, how to measure out the correct amount of yarn for each section, sewing in your ends, and techniques to balance your tension.
Homework:
With one colour, cast on 27 stitches (with ball band recommended needle size) and knit 4 rows.
Dates:
- Saturday February 28th 10am - 12pm
- Saturday March 7th 2pm - 4pm
- Saturday March 14th 12:30pm - 2:30pm
- Saturday May 9th 12pm - 2pm
Materials required (not included):
- Small quantity of yarn in DK, worsted or Bulky in two colours.
- Needle size as per recommended on ball band, plus one size smaller.

Credit for future classes or a refund minus $15 administration fee will only be provided if we are notified either by phone or email at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance of the class or workshop.
Please note - Baaad Rabbits is located in an old building with no insulation - if it is cold outside, the shop is also cold in the morning - please dress accordingly.

Rebecca has been knitting since she was 7 years old and crocheting since she was 10! She has always had a love for textiles and colour. Teaching people how to knit and crochet expresses one of her greatest joys; sharing her creativity and passion with people.
